The invention concerns an installation wherein intercepting means (17) are interposed on an outlet pipe (11S) of a heat exchanger (10) for collecting solid cleansing elements (15) circulating therein, whereby said solid cleansing elements (15) are recirculated towards the inlet pipe (11E) of said heat exchanger (10) through a control device (26). The invention is characterised in that it consists in setting between the intercepting means (17) and the control device (26), a concentrating device (27) for raising the concentration level of solid cleansing elements (15) in the return flow, such that the flow rate conditions at the control device (26) inlet correspond to the normal operating conditions thereof. The invention is particularly applicable to tubular heat exchangers forming condensers.
