POLYIMIDE CONTAINING CROSSLINKABLE GROUP AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

摘要

A polyimide comprising the backbone structure of any of various known thermoplastic polyimides and crosslinkable groups incorporated in the structure. It is significantly superior in heat resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical properties to the known polyimides while retaining the intact moldability, sliding properties, low water absorption, electrical properties, thermal oxidative stability, and radiation resistance which are characteristic of the known polyimide structures.
