The system consists of two separate conveyors (6a, 6b) positioned side by side, each with a series of cells (25). It also has a transverse feeder (4) to deliver the articles to the cells, and two drives (27a, 27b) for the conveyors with a programme control system (30) to co-ordinate the speed of the conveyors with that of the feeder.
