The proposed apparatus for controlled proportioning NO in breath of patients consists of a respirator(1) being connected with a tank (3) of proportioned NO, whereby between the respirator(1) and the tank (3) of proportioned NO there is introduced a dosing unit (4) that communicates with a control device (5a). The needful voluminous flow of NO for NO supply is controlled in dependence on inspiratory voluminous flow and an analyzer (2) intended for determining NO concentration in breath of a patient (12) who is connected through the mediation of an analyzing circuit (19) via a dehumidifier (23) placed therein with a tube (13) leading to the patient (12). The NO analyzer is used for controlling the supply of NO amount in the apparatus for controlled proportioning of NO in breath of patients (12).
