ELASTOMER PRODUCTS WITH ACOUSTIC ATTENUATION PROPERTIES

Heat-setting reactive compounds with a single component based on liquid rubber with reactive olefinic double bonds and optionally solid rubber and sulphur-based vulcanisation systems have a high acoustic loss factor maximum at the vulcanised state in a large range of use temperatures from about +10 DEG C to +40 DEG C. These compositions may also contain finely powdered thermoplastic polymers. These compositions are useful as acoustically attenuating adhesives, sealing or coating masses.
