<p>Masses comprising materials containing CaO.SiO2 are formed and baked. Ground, whole, or principally glass-like slags are used which contain at least 80% CaO and SiO2 in a molar ratio of approx. 1:1. Advantageous is the crystallization of the slag immediately after this has been obtained. In this case the heating step can be dispensed with. The slag from producing phosphourus is usually obtained at a temp. of 1300-1500 degrees C and rapidly cooled. Slag from phosphourus production can have the following composition in percentages: SiO2 - 43.13, CaO - 48.55, FeO - 0.10, Al2O3 - 2.75, MgO - 0.83, TiO2 - 0.24, P2O5 - 1.41, S - 0.34, K2O - 0.37, Na2O - 0.85.</p> |
