<p>Drum for cement kiln through which hot gases flow in axial direction and containing powdered materials shows improved heat exchange between them by having slanted surfaces; edge nearest drum wall is at the an angle of 0-50 degrees C to slanted surface, ensuring good mixing of materials against inner wall of drum without them being thrown inwards in a radial direction. Loss of powder and great temp.-gradients and loss of powder in gas flow are minimised.</p> |
