<p>Polyetheramide(s), mol.wt. at least 600, bearing two amino or carboxylic acid groups per macromolecule, reacts in soln. with di-isocyanate and mol.wt. is then further increased by reaction with water, in soln. or as vapours, below 50 degrees C. Fibres can be spun from polymer soln., before or after reacting with water, and show a receptivity to acidic dyes greater than that of 'spandex' (RTM).</p> |
