PURPOSE:To prevent a dew condensation phenomenon caused by the heat of a thermal fixing device by providing a member having moisture absorbing properties on a surface located on the heat source side of a thermal fixing part out a part arranged on the vicinity of the thermal fixing device. CONSTITUTION:The member having the moisture absorbing properties is provided on the surface located on the heat source side of the thermal fixing part on the part arranged in the vicinity of the thermal fixing device. When a recording action is carried out, moisture contained in a recording sheet P passing the fixing roller 15 of the thermal fixing device 14 and a pressurizing roller 16, is heated by the heat radiated from the light source 17 of the thermal fixing device 14 to be turned into vapor, rises and reaches the layer of hairs 27 provided on the surface of the heat source side of the thermal fixing device of a partition plate 26. The vapor is absorbed/ held between a large number of the hairs 27 thinned and arranged on the layer of the hairs 17. Thus, the occurrence of the dew condensation phenomenon on the surface located on the heat source side of the thermal fixing device on the part arranged in the vicinity of the thermal fixing device, is prevented, and the occurrence of an accident such as the soiling of the recording sheet by a drop of water and the corrosion of the part, is prevented, as well. |
