PURPOSE:To eliminate a thermometric mistake by making an electronic clinical thermometer easy to handle. CONSTITUTION:An electronic clinical thermometer is equipped with a temp. operation part 6 subjecting the electric signal from a temp.sensitive part 2 to A/D conversion to convert the same to temp., an oscillation circuit part 7 receiving power from a power supply part 5 accompanied by turning a power supply switch 4 ON to oscillate a reference clock signal with predetermined frequency and a clock counter 8 counting the reference clock signal from the oscillation circuit part 7. Further, the clinical thermometer is equipped with a control circuit part 9 calculating the time holding the power supply switch 4 to an ON-state on the basis of the time data of the clock counter 8 and changing over a thermometer mode corresponding to the calculated time to set the thermometry completion time corresponding to the change-over thermometric mode and displaying a thermometric mode sign on a display part 3, a clocking part 10 starting the measurement of a time when the thermometry completion time is set and an information part 11 emitting buzzer sound when the measured time of the clocking part 10 reaches the thermometry completion time. |
