Coatings and binders for pharmaceutical forms containing a copolymerizate, wherein the copolymerizate is made up of: 10 to 25 weight percent of methacrylic acid; 40 to 70 weight percent of methyl acrylate; and 20 to 40 weight percent of methyl methacrylate. The compositions are preferably suitable as latex dispersed in an aqueous phase, as coating and binder compositions for the pharmaceutical forms, which allows a release at a pH of 6.5 - 7.5. There is further disclosed the use of said copolymer and the pharmaceutical form with its content.
