An antenna structure and a method of forming an antenna on a conductive carrier are claimed and disclosed. The structure includes a carrier (18) having an electricity conductive surface (18.1) and a magnetic field interacting layer (20) including an amorphous or nanocrystalline magnetic material alloy, such as VITROPERM 500 F<TM>, provided on or near the surface. In use, the antenna structure is driven with a signal source generating a frequency in the band 1 MHz to 3000 MHz. |
