The motor power unit for road works includes a single internal combustion engine, a compressor and a series of pumps which are driven from the engine. The engine drives the compressor via the engine flywheel attached to the crankshaft, and drives the pumps from the crankshaft. The compressor transmission comprises a clutch which enables the drive to be interrupted in the event of excess engine speed, or at will in response to the operator's instruction. |
