The head rest consists of a frame (3), mounted on the back (5) of the vehicle seat, and which carries a cushion (2), which is mobile relative to the frame. The cushion is mounted to rotate relative to the fixed part of the head rest around an axis (R), which is roughly perpendicular to the front face of the head rest. The axis of rotation is mounted eccentrically to the central part of the mobile cushion.
