The shade comprises a flexible membrane (2) which has one end (3) integral with a fixed section (4) mounted on a wall (5). The membrane is wound and unwound on a winding shaft (7). The shaft is held at is ends (8,9) in bearings which slide in a direction perpendicular to the shaft. The bearing supports receive at their ends (12,13) a reinforcing section (14) which ensures permanent application of the shaft against the reinforcing section under the traction exerted by the membrane.
