PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sealing members appropriate in surface hardness, low in attacking properties on the other member and high in relative abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: Seal rings S comprising 80-95 wt.% polytetra-fluoroethylene and 20-5 wt.% fine spherical amorphous carbon are fitted into grooves 56, 57, 58 and 59 in the periphery of a sleeve valve member 5 to seal the gap between the peripheries of a valve housing 1 made of a magnesium alloy and the sleeve valve member 5. |
