PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable method and device for applying anneal separating agent to a directional silicon steel plate, in which any application uniformity called a stripe-shaped pattern cannot be generated even at the time of high speed application for applying the anneal separating agent using MgO as main components to the directional silicon steel plate. SOLUTION: At the time of applying anneal separating agent to the surface and back face of a cold-rolled and decarbonized and annealed directional silicon steel plate 2, the anneal separating agent is turned into a slurry state and primarily applied, a slit nozzle 4 is shaken to the direction of the plate width of the steel plate 2, the deposit of the anneal separating agent on the slit nozzle 4 is removed at the outside of the steel plate 2, a gas fluid is sprayed from the slit nozzle 4 to the steel plate face in a vertical direction, and application weight is adjusted in this method and device for applying anneal separating agent to the directional silicon steel plate. |
