PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to put elbows or forearms on a folding handrail in a stable state and to enable a person to sufficiently assist operation in standing or walking, etc., of the person. SOLUTION: A folding handrail 1 is equipped with anchors 2 and 2 and a handrail main body 3 mounted to them in a rotatable manner. Each of the anchors 2 is equipped with a substrate 22 having a screw hole 21 for fixing it to a mounted body, holding plates 23 and 23 opposed to both sides of the substrate 22 and a stopper 24 provided in the upper part side between the holding plates 23 and 23. The handrail main body 3 is equipped with arm members 31 and 31 holding the basic end between the holding plates 23 and 23 and pivoted on pins 4, a grip member 32 provided in the front side between the arm members 31 and 31 and a holding member 33 parallel with the grip member and provided in the base side between the arm members 31 and 31 at an interval of an opening section 5. |
