PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient dissolution treatment of a synthetic resin waste without its scattering and further keep a high quality at the time of regeneration in an apparatus for dissolution treating by means of a solvent the synthetic resin waste such as an expanded polystyrene or the like which has been used, for example, as a packing material or a packaging material. SOLUTION: The apparatus for dissolution treatment of the synthetic resin waste comprises an impeller 5 for crushing and stirring the synthetic resin material and rotatably provided through a shaft 4 in a dissolver 1 accommodating the solvent, and a collecting container 7 having a perforated plate for collecting dirt or the like floating in the solvent and provided in the dissolver 1 at the side of the shaft 4, wherein the rotation of the impeller 5 introduces the solvent in the dissolver 1 into the collecting container 7.
