PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such erroneous action that a shake is amplified because phases are not aligned by controlling a pass band restriction means so that a band equal to or over a prescribed frequency is cut off when a shake frequency equal to or over the prescribed frequency is detected. SOLUTION: By a shake frequency detector 211, a shake frequency component is detected from a signal outputted by a high-pass filter HPF 202. Then, frequency data detected as the largest one is outputted by the detector 211. By a shake state discrimination unit 212, a shake state is discriminated based on the signal outputted by the HPF 202 and the shake frequency data outputted from the detector 211 so as to control the cut-off frequency of an HPF 210. In this case, a mode is switched to one of the correction mode and the still mode by the unit 212. That means, a shake correction band is restricted and the cut-off frequency of the HPF 210 is changed in order to eliminate the shake of a video caused by noise. The cut-off frequency of the HPF is set sufficiently low in the ordinary mode and set to a value required for eliminating the noise in the still mode.
|
