PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in storage stability of a polyol system, having a low thermal conductivity and excellent in heat insulating properties. SOLUTION: This method for producing a rigid polyurethane foam comprises using a polyol which is the one containing aldehyde condensation resin fine particles and having 200-600 mg KOH/g hydroxy value at 1.0-8.0 wt.% concentration of the aldehyde condensation resin fine particles in the method for producing a rigid polyurethane foam comprising reacting the polyol with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a foaming agent and a catalyst. Furthermore, the aldehyde condensation resin particles are resin fine particles obtained by condensing at least one kind selected from a phenolic compound, a urea-based compound, a melamine-based compound and a guanidine-based compound with aldehydes. |
