PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by avoiding generation of cracking in casting, forming the strong fiber flow in a direction from a central part of a head part to the peripheral part, and reinforcing the head part and a part between the head part and a skirt part. SOLUTION: In the cast piston to be produced by being finished after casting a material of a lump of metal by a casting mold into a cast molded material having a head part, a pin boss part and a skirt part, aluminum alloy powder containing necessary powder components is pressed and solidified in the mold into a piston material 10 of a lump of metal, the piston material 10 is cast, by a casting mold, in a direction along the pressing direction by force generated when the material is solidified, an approximately piston-shaped cast molded material 11 is formed, and therefore, the strong fiber flow in a direction from a central part of a head part to the peripheral part is formed.
