PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet head and its manufacture whereby an electrode in a jet groove shows a superior corrosion resistance to ink even in the absence of an insulating protecting film, and a good brazing property is exhibited between a connecting terminal and a wiring material. SOLUTION: A conductive layer formed of Ni showing a good corrosion resistance to ink is formed on an actuator substrate having grooves 14, 15 including a plurality of jet grooves. The conductive layer is divided by grinding and laser processing to electrodes in the grooves and a part corresponding to connecting terminals 43, 46. A conductive layer formed of Au with a good brazing property is formed on the conductive layer of the part corresponding to the connecting terminals. A flexible printed wiring board 32 extending from an external driving control part is connected on the Au conductive layer by brazing.
