PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite laminate having no open voids though it is porous. SOLUTION: A green laminate equipped with a first sheet layer 2 containing an anorthite type crystallized glass powder and a first powder like an alumina powder and the second sheet layers 3, 4 provided in contact with both surfaces of the first sheet layer 2 and containing a second powder like an alumina powder not sintered at the softening point of the anorthite type crystallized glass being a part of the first powder is prepared to be baked at temp. higher than the softening point of anorthite type crystallized glass. By this baking, anorthite type crystallized glass is melted before the first powder is densified by sintering and diffused or fluidized throughout the second sheet layers 3, 4 so as to fill the gaps of the second powder. By this method, a composite laminate 1 wherein the first sheet layer 2 is porous and the second sheet layers 3, 4 have no open voids is obtained.
