PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash off contaminant bonded to an article to be washed from all over the surface. SOLUTION: A container 17 is placed on the rack 21 attached to one end part of a rack rotary shaft 23 and a washing soln. 37 is sprayed on the container 17 while the rack rotary shaft 23 is rotated in such a state that the container 17 is pressed and, thereafter, a rinsing soln. 53 is ejected toward the container 17 obliquely with respect to the rack rotary shaft 23 from a pair of nozzles 43 respectively arranged behind the container placing surface and the container pressing surface so as to hold the container 17 while the nozzles 43 are rotated to wash the container 17.
