PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping height adjusting mechanism capable of solving an issue of a difficulty of adjusting at a constant height and having a high scattering, since in a conventional combine, the leaping height adjusting switch is attached at a main transmission lever and sometimes an erroneous operation such as lifting the reaping part up and down unintentionally by touching a finger to the reaping height adjusting switch during the operation of the main transmission lever occurs, and in the case of performing the adjustment of the reaping height, the reaping height after the adjustment is grasped only by an intuition and an experience. SOLUTION: This reaping height adjusting device in a combine is provided by mounting a reaping height adjusting switch 31 capable of adjusting the reaping height optionally by lifting a reaping part up and down with a hand operation at the gripping part 17a of a steering handle 17, and arranging a reaping height displaying meter 32 for displaying the reaping height in an almost middle part of a steering wheel 17 or on an instrument panel 16 in the front direction of the steering handle 17.
