TRANSMISSION OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission output control method for simplifying a transmission output control circuit of a transmission power amplifier circuit that conducts transmission output control and its control method without conducting frequent transmission output control at every switching at a location where improvement effect by diversity is less. SOLUTION: After switching from a communication range by one carrier to a communication range by two carriers, a transmission output is made constant at a maximum transmission output. The control of transmission output due to the increase/decrease of the number of carriers is not needed by making the transmission output constant at its maximum transmission output in this way. The number of carriers may be 2 or more. Furthermore, a transmission output reference to increase/decrease the number of the carriers may be an optical transmission output. In the case that a code error rate of a mobile station 110 reaches a preset upper limit, a new carrier is assigned and the code error rate is improved on the condition that the transmission out is made into a lower transmission output than the maximum transmission output and made constant.
