PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a rabit ear noise from a screen by A/D converting a video signal, storing video information in a frame memory, forming a window of fixed width before and after a horizonal synchronizing signal, vertically scanning luminance information in the window in a frame memory, and judging fixed high luminance information as a rabit ear noise. SOLUTION: A video signal is A/D converted by a video signal processing LSI 1, the video signal is stored in a frame memory 2 and luminance information obtained before and after a horizontal synchronizing period and the luminance information of the whole screen are transferred to a microcomputer 3 through a bus. The microcomputer 3 measures the continuous time of these information obtained by the LSI 1 and judges a positional range including rabit ear noise in the video signal. The microcomputer 3 controls the LSI 1 based on the judged result and changes the horizontal display position horizontal display width and horizontal blanking width of the video signal. |
