摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an extremely small nozzle diameter like that of the injection nozzle of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: For this configuration measuring method, a master member 74 for obtaining the diameter of a probe 12 is constituted by bringing three block gauges 76, 78, and 80 into contact. When this master member 74 is used, the probe 12 is inserted into the gap between block gauges 76 and 80 on both sides and made to abut against the block gauges 76 and 80 on both the sides. The movement quantity of the probe 12 at this time is calculated from the size of the center block gauge 78 and then the very thin diameter of the probe 12 can accurately be measured. Therefore, the extremely small nozzle diameter like that of the jet nozzle can accurately be measured by the probe 12.
