BUFFER MEMORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSOR USING THE SAME AND BUFFER MEMORY MANAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately detect area destruction without using a special memory destruction detection program when a certain task destroys the use area of another task in buffer memory management which provides common memory space to each task such as an application program and dynamically ensures or releases the memory space. SOLUTION: When a buffer memory area ensuring request comes from each task, a buffer memory managing part 121 of an OS(operating system) 12 prepares a virtual page on which a physical page does not exist and allocates the requested memory area just before the virtual page. A virtual memory managing part 122 detects that a certain task exceeds the ensured buffer memory area and detects memory area destruction by such a manner that interrupt due to the detection takes place. The part 122 recognizes that the buffer memory area is exceeded by means of page fault.
