<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate key operation and to increase the input speed of data by decreasing a key operation frequency at the time of data input. SOLUTION: This is a data input method for pointing an object display cell in a group of display cells S formed in matrix on a display screen with a cursor CS and inputting and displaying data by key operation on the pointed object display cell; and an input direction of data is previously set, and after the end of data input to the object display cell is indicated by a return key means, the cursor CS is advanced to the display cell position adjacent to the object display cell according to the input direction of the data. Further, indication information showing whether or not a display cell S where data should be inputted is at a return position and indication information showing whether or not the display cell is a display cell where data should be inputted are further added for the data input method.</p> |
