PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacture of a solid spherical body by injection molding by using a thermoplastic resin which is deteriorated in fluidity, and a golf ball manufactured by this method. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacture of a solid spherical body of total volume V by injection molding a thermoplastic resin or an elastomer composition, the composition is injected by dividing N times, and a volume Vn of a molded part formed by the N-th injection molding satisfies the formula 0.4<=Vn/(V/N)<=1.6. A melt index of the thermoplastic resin or elastomer composition is preferably 7 or under, and a diene rubber fine particle prepared by dynamical crosslinking especially in the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic elastomer is preferable. |
