<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device facilitating the pull-out operation of a paper feed tray while preventing the drag of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: A paper feeding tray 35 provided detachably in a main body is provided with a bottom plate 37 on which a paper sheet is put, a push-up spring 41 energizing the bottom plate 37 toward a paper feeding roller 39, a separation pad 47 which comes into pressure-contact with the paper feeding roller 39 to prevent the double feed of sheets, a pressurizing spring 49 energizing the separation pad 47 toward the paper feeding roller 39, and a lever 51 and a wire 53 which let the separation pad 47 and the bottom plate 35 leave the paper feeding roller 39 when the paper feeding tray 35 is pulled out of the main body.</p> |
