PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine a terminal in trouble by generating a management table on the basis of TEI numbers and terminal numbers corresponding to plural terminals, sending a connection state confirmation signal to the plural terminals in order according to the management table, and judging a terminal is in trouble in case of no response from the terminal and displaying the number of the terminal making no response. SOLUTION: After a user connects ISDN communication terminals 31 and 32 to the terminal interface part 2 of a communication device 10 by a bus, the user requests TEI numbers of those bus-connected ISDN terminals 31 and 32. The control part 3 of the communication device 10 once receiving request signals from the TEI numbers from the ISDN communication terminals 31 and 32 sends the request signals for the TEI number to an ISDN line 20 through a line interface part 1. When the communication device 10 once receives the TEI numbers assigned to the ISDN communication terminals 31 and 32 from the ISDN line 20, the control part 3 of the communication device 10 stores the TEI numbers in a storage part 4.
