PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring a developing roller and a photoreceptor drum into contact with each other with prescribed pressure by giving a prescribed gap between them by a gap holding member, to prevent foreign matters such as splashed toner, dust and dirt from being attached to the gap holding member and to prevent printing quality from being lowered. SOLUTION: This image recorder is constituted so that the toner of a developing unit 51 is transferred to the photoreceptor drum 62 through the developing roller brought into press-contact with the drum 62 and a toner image is formed on the drum 62 by an electrophotographic system and transferred and printed on a paper. Besides, it is provided with the holding members 80 for keeping the prescribed interval between the surface of the drum 62 and the shaft center of the roller 55 at both end parts of the roller 55, and a cleaning means 90 cleaning the holding members 80. |
