<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound that is useful as a linker for silicon base over a wide range of solid-phase syntheses, can be synthesized through a relatively simple process and can bond the ligand molecule to the solid-phase support before it bonds to the linker. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R1 is hydroxy, a 1-6C alkoxy, NR4R5 (R4 and R5 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like); R2 is a halogen, a 1-6C acyloxy, -SR6 (R6 is a 1-6C alkyl, a 4-6C aryl) or the like; R3 is -Si(R7)3; R7 is R6]. The compound of formula I is obtained by acetalizing glyoxylic acid or its derivative of formula II or its derivative with a compound of the formula: R3(CH2)2OH, then protecting and activating the hydroxyl groups of the resultant compound of formula III, for example, with dialkyl pyrocarbonate. In a preferred embodiment, this compound is bonded to the solid phase support via an ester bond or an amide bond.</p> |
