摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the banding irregularity and improve the concentration reproductivity of an gradation image by having a common multiple of the unit pixel number of a pattern dither as the laser beam channel number. SOLUTION: An image recording apparatus 1 drives a multi-head 60 by a laser driving part 50 for recording a two-dimensional image. In changing concentration gradation data to binary data accordingly, mask data provided with a threshold value are used. In this embodiment, since the basic pattern number of the threshold value mask of the dot array and the laser beam array unit are same, the banding irregularity can be reduced by control of the laser beam light amount per multi-channel of the multi-laser head 60 and matching the boundaries of sub-scanning. Furthermore, since the laser beam channel number is a common multiple of the unit pixel number of the pattern dither, the banding irregularity can be reduced by exposing a predetermined position of the dither pattern.</p>
