摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce incurring of an energy loss due to a radiation loss and to decrease electric charges by a method wherein a change-over switch to change over the set temperature of the heating means of a hot water storage tank having the heating means is arranged in the vicinity of the hot water supply terminal of a hot water supply piping to interconnect a hot water supply apparatus and a hot water supply terminal, and the heat insulation temperature of the hot water storage tank is variable. SOLUTION: In a hot water supply device having a hot water storage tank 4 having a heating means, and arranged in the vicinity of the hot water supply terminal of a hot water supply piping 3 to interconnect a hot water supply apparatus and a hot water supply terminal, a switch to change over the set temperature of the heating means of the hot water storage tank 4 is arranged and the heat insulation temperature of the hot water storage tank 4 is variable. Through this way, during a summer season wherein a supply water temperature is high, the heat insulation temperature of hot water in the hot water storage tank 4 is lowered, a quantity of heat more than necessary is not held, incurring of an energy loss is reduced, and a power saving effect is improved. The temperature of water entering the hot water supply apparatus or the hot water storage tank 4 is detected, and a change-over switch is automatically changed over according to the detecting water temperature. A summer season and a winter season are detected from a water supply temperature and automatic switching is effected, and a power saving effect is reliably improved.</p>
