PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To designate the section spreading a link in other contents through numerical input and to trace the link destination of a hypertext. SOLUTION: A user command analytic means 1b recognizes a coordinate value inputted from a user through a telephone set 6 and outputs it to a link destination content request means 1c. The link destination content request means 1c outputs a request to acquire the contents of the link destination related to a position shown by a link destination coordinate value on an image prepared from the contents of the designation source to a content acquiring means 1a. An image generating means 1d generates an image picture to which the scale of matrix coordinates is added to the image prepared from the contents acquired by the content acquiring means 1a. The generated image picture is transmitted to a facsimile (FAX) 7 by an image transmitting means 1e. Thus, only by designating the coordinate value through the telephone set 6, the contents of the link destination can be provided by the FAX 7.
