PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change operation device with a shift lock mechanism for a vehicle to be excellent in safety and ensure improvement of comfortability in a car room and improvement of workability. SOLUTION: A shaft for shift having a rotation central axis paralleling the steering shaft of a steering device is arranged at a support holder 11 arranged at a steering support beam separately independent from the steering device arranged at a steering support beam.
