PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform easily and correctly the registration process of reference data which is for recognizing individual terminal unit for playing game. SOLUTION: A terminal unit for playing game 2, such as a game machine 3 or inter position machine 4, is connected to a control device 1 with a communication circuit L. Each terminal unit for playing game 2 is given its own three- digit discriminating number, and the control device 1 sends the data sending command to the unit of discriminating number '001' to '999' in order. The terminal unit for playing game 2 responds to the data sending command that includes its own discriminating number to return the individual data, for example, kinds or types of its machine. A control device 1 registrats the returned individual data in a memory corresponding to its discriminating number. In case there is no response, the discriminating number in the command is processed as a 'vacant number'.
