PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat utilizing system utilizing hydrogen storage alloys for improving a coefficient of performance by increasing a heat transfer area of a container for heat exchanging the alloys with a heating medium to improve a heat exchanging efficiency, and suppressing a thermal capacity of the container for containing the alloys. SOLUTION: Flat shape upper, intermediate and lower stage containers S1, S2, S3 for sealing hydrogen storage alloys are superposed so that two waveform plates F1, F2 for repeatedly continuing ridge stripes and trough stripes cross in the continuing directions of the ridge stripes and the trough stripes, the plates F1 and F2 are connected therebetween and blocked, and a vertex of the one plate F1 is connected to a bottom of the other superposed plate F2. Then, a heat transfer area of the medium to the container and a heat transfer area of the container to the alloys are increased to increase its heat transfer amount, and since no inserting member for heat transfer such as foamed metal is provided, its heat capacity is reduced.
