PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square outlet box which can be neatly installed so as not to obstruct the routes of pipes when pipes with a same diameter are connected straight to each other or in parallel to each other, and furthermore, can cope with all the possible combinations of pipes by turning the orientation of the outlet box. SOLUTION: Pairs of knockouts 1 with different diameters are respectively formed in a pair of side surfaces among four circumferential side surfaces of an outlet box P at positions facing each other for providing series connection parts 10. A pair of knockouts 1 with a same diameter are formed in parallel in one of a pair of remaining side surfaces, and a pair of knockouts 1 with a diameter equal to each other but different from the diameter of the pair of knockouts 1 formed in the former side surface are formed in the other side surface of the pair of remaining side surfaces to provide parallel connection parts 20. With this constitution, when pipes with a same diameter are connected straight to each other or in parallel to each other, the outlet box P does not obstruct the routing of pipes and can be neatly installed. The box P can cope with all the possible combinations of pipes by turning the orientation of the box P. |
