PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device dealing with the improvement of density of an optical disk to be higher and the capacity to be larger and also an optical disk device furnished with this pickup device by providing a slider to fix an objective lens moving smoothly to the tracking direction of the optical disk. SOLUTION: In the optical pickup device provided with the slider 1 having a pair of ski parts 1a forming the same plane on both sides across a cutting groove 1b at least and the objective lens 2 fixed on the center part of this cutting groove 1b, either one of the curved surface or inclined surface is formed at least on two ridges at the outer edge sides in the direction along the cutting groove 1b of the ski parts 1a. |
