PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient color-developing density, and at the same time, develop color in sepia or brown by specifying a color difference value of a color-developed image which is stipulated in a specified standard. SOLUTION: As a dye precursor, a leuco dye which develops in an orange system and a leuco dye which develops in a black system, respectively having specified maximum absorbing wavelengths, and an organic color developer are pulverized by a grinder or the like, and a coating liquid is formed by adding a binder. After applying the applying liquid on one surface of a base paper, a drying is performed, and this heat-sensitive recording body having a heat- sensitive coloring layer is obtained. On the heat-sensitive recording body, a recording is performed using a thermal printer or the like. In this case, a color difference a* value which is specified in JIS-Z-8729 of the colored image is set 0-40, and also, b* value is set 0-55. By this method, a desired sepia or brown tone can be obtained. In addition, it is preferable to set the color difference a* value 0-40, and also, the b* value 3-55, because a clearer tone can be obtained. |
