BLOOD VESSEL SEPARATING TRACTOR CANNULA AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a surgical appliance to safely separate a target blood vessel. SOLUTION: A tractor 116 and the surgical appliance are located in a cannula 100 and an incision cradle 116 of this tractor is located at the terminal of the cannula. The tractor includes a first portion 110 having an axis nearly parallel with the axis of the cannula and a second portion 114 having a certain axis at a certain angle with the axis of the cannula. The incision cradle is installed at the terminal of this second portion and can include two substantially paralleled and spaced leg parts between the planes installed together with the tractor diagonally with the axes of these leg parts in the form of a loop therein, which loop faces the direction parting from the surgical appliance. A surgeon extends the tractor so as to place the vein in the incision cradle. When the vein is cradled, the tractor urges the vein so as to part the same from the axis of the cannula and separates the branch so as to expose the same to the surgical appliance.
