PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vegetables scarcely having stimulative substances such as onions sparingly having a sharp taste and sparingly irritating the eyes, spinach sparingly having a bitter taste, or the like by means other than breeding. SOLUTION: Tea seed saponin or a mixture of the tea seed saponin with a saponin extracted cake is formulated in fertilizer and applied to vegetables.
