PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improving method of a stator for a motor which reduces cogging torque and improves function of the motor. SOLUTION: In a method for innovating radians in a salient tooth side edge of a silicon steel plate of a stator of a motor, a vertex of a salient tooth 21 is made one point of a circular arc, the center of the silicon steel plate is made the center of a circle, and a salient tooth preparation circular arc side 20 is drawn. Right and left ends of the salient tooth 2 are made salient tooth side edge vertexes 22, each of the vertexes 22 is made one point on a circular arc, and each preparation circle 24 of the salient pole side edge is drawn to be in contact with the circular arc side 20. In the preparation circle 24 of the salient tooth side edge 21, required radian of the salient tooth side edge 21 is formed by a circular arc between the salient tooth side edge vertexes 22 and the contact point of the salient tooth preparation circular arc side 20. The above characterizes this improving method of the stator of a motor.
