<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device capable of both-sided printing and having a fixing unit using a release agent to exactly remove the release agent stuck to the surface of a toner-image carrier such as a photoreceptor or intermediate transfer body and the surface of a transfer roll for transferring a toner image to a recording sheet by being in contact with them and to prevent image void caused by the sticking of the release agent. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a sheet carrying device St by which, in the case of recording on both the sides, a recording sheet S whose one side is subjected tot he formation of a toner image Tn and which is passed through a fixing area Q5 is turned over and re-carried to a sheet transfer area Q4 and the fixing area Q5 successively, and a release-agent removal member 43 holding a release-agent removal powder for removing the release agent stuck to at least either one of the surface of the toner image carrier B between the sheet transfer area Q4 and a toner-image-carrier cleaning member 41b or the surface of the sheet transfer roll 30 between the sheet transfer area Q4 and a transfer-roll cleaning member 42b on the surface.</p> |
