PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet material comprising an isobutylenic block copolymer formed from a polymer block containing isobutylene as a main component, etc., and having excellent heat-resistant stability, mechanical strengths, tear strength, gas impermeability, steam impermeability, abrasion resistance, flexibility, electric insulation, etc. SOLUTION: This sheet material comprises an isobutylenic block copolymer formed from a polymer block containing isobutylene as a main component preferably in an amount of 95-20 wt.% and a polymer block not containing the isobutylene as a main component preferably in an amount of 5-80 wt.%. The isobutylenic block copolymer preferably comprises a triblock copolymer comprising a polymer block produced from one or more monomers not containing the isobutylene as a main component, a polymer block containing isobutylene as a main component and a polymer block not containing the isobutylene as a main component, and preferably has a number-average mol.wt. of 30,000-500,000.
